In a milestone achievement reinforcing Saudi Arabia's growing tech entrepreneurship scene, Abdulmajeed Alqarni, Founder of CAN Network for Communication and Information Technology, has been announced as a winner in Cohort 2 of the 1K Mile Entrepreneurship Program, launched by the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).
The 1K Mile program, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 goals, is designed to attract entrepreneurs to create detailed feasibility studies for industrial, logistics, or mining projects that are both viable and sustainable.
NIDLP aims to transform Saudi Arabia into a leading industrial powerhouse and a global logistics hub, by maximizing the value of its mining and energy sectors while unlocking the full potential of local content and the 4th Industrial Revolution. Vision 2030
The second cohort introduced new initiatives to help driven entrepreneurs take their ideas to market. The program empowers entrepreneurs to identify the entities and services that meet their project needs, and supports incubated projects in gaining local and global visibility through exhibitions, conferences, and digital marketing — alongside feasibility analysis covering technical, financial, and commercial dimensions.
